- Schedule a visit to your future apartment to take room measurements
- Schedule a meeting with our Move-In Coordinator to develop a personalized moving plan tailored to your needs and timeline
- Discuss move plans with family or support team
- 6 - 8 Weeks Before Your Move
- Host a yard sale or arrange donation pickups
- Start packing non-essential items
- Notify doctors, banks, and insurance companies of your upcoming address change
- Make a list of utility services to cancel or transfer
- Organize important documents in one place (wills, medical records, insurance)
- 4 Weeks Before Your Move
- Confirm your moving date with our Move-In Coordinator
- Finalize packing plans or hire packing assistance
- Complete change-of-address forms with the post office
- Notify friends and family of your new address
- Transfer or refill any prescriptions
- 1 - 2 Weeks Before Your Move
- Pack an “essentials” box with toiletries, medications, clothes, and important papers
- Label all boxes clearly with room names and contents
- Arrange transportation for yourself or loved ones on moving day
- Schedule final cleaning of your current home
- Moving Day
- Do one last walkthrough of your home
